Server #1 Maps

We are finding it hard to pick maps that everyone likes. So for now its come down to these two options. Please vote.

Rush/ everything else will have to wait until we get more servers/more stable.

I won't vote as I haven't really played much on the FanT server as for some reason 64 player insta crashes my graphics drivers, but wondering why you don't have Kharg or Damavand in there?

Just to clarify I understand that they would be in the all maps option, but I was wondering why you don't run them with the popular maps, I think Kharg is possible one of the better maps (Siene and it would be my 2 favs) this game has, and Damavand is awesome fun on rush and on conquest and I much rather its choke points than Metro's choke point.

Screw Bazaar right off.
Swap Metro for Davamand.
Seine is the best map in the game.
Kharg, Firestorm and Caspian are both fun and frustrating. Slightly more the latter but they're still ok.

Caspian is probably my favourite.
Used to like Seine but I'm not sure if I've played it too much or if its the fact that every faggot just spams explosives or mortars these days but not liking it all that much anymore.
Used to hate Bazaar but its grown on me a bit and I dont mind it now.
Metro is only fun when its full of noobs or if theres only 24 players max
Undecided on Davamand and Kharg
Canals is only bearable as US
Firestorm used to be shit... and now that erry' cuntus uses soflam + Javelin in all its o'penis its a steaming pile of horse shit which I never hope to play again in my life

I was wondering. how hard is it to implement something like this, do you have to manually kick players or can you set up the server to auto kick for getting kills with certain weapons (like SMAW, RPG, M320...)?

Also if you can set these parameters can you get them to apply to only this map or would they apply to the whole server and screw up other maps?

That would be fucking GLORIOUS. That's what I want to do. Grenades aren't really so much a problem as the SMAW/320's though, I'd have trouble playing without them.

So I hear that other servers, do limit the use of weapons. As we have said before, ranked games are not allowed to limit the use of anything, or do things such as encourage stat padding. So we won't be anything like that using the our servers. - Servers who do this can be reported, and could get deleted, i'd rather not risk it.

Yeah taking metro out of the first server rotation is something that can be done. I tried replacing it with caspian(all round good map), but I don't think it suited the playing style of the regulars who play in there. Might try and use devamand peak, as that seems like a bigger maps, sort of that matches the rest.

The metrosexual server will probs just stay the same for a while longer, tried having all sorts of maps on there but it never filled up. Atleast its sort of getting new regulars like isla did.

My train of thought with the removal of Metro was mainly that people either love it or hate it, and the majority of the people that like it would prefer to play on a 24/7 server - which we happen to have ;)

I would imagine that there's only a handful of people that would enjoy a Metro 64p spamfest along with playing other maps.

Maybe we can leave metro as the first map, and see if people join it, and then let the other 3 maps play in the rotation after metro. Could even have it go, Metro, Siene, Bazar, Peak, Siene, Bazar, Peak, --Repeat. So metro is every 7th map. but it plays first so people join when empty.

Strike at Karkand over Metro. It sorta compliments Sienne and Bazaar pretty well.

Metro almost killed the server last night, but also managed to revive it with an influx of scrubs.

Played alot of servers that had banned RPG/USAS and so on on metro. Ended up turning in a nade spam fest and when FF was on I think every 2nd death for every player was a nade tk from people throwing them into the back of peoples heads.

As for the maps I agree with Nuss
