Hello I am Lithium.

My name is Josh and I like to play pc games. I've played lots of counter-strike and a fair bit of heroes of newerth. Most single players bore me these days with the exception of a few (ie Skyrim). I've had it since release but I got into BC2 about 5 months ago and played on the FanT Isla Inocentes server pretty much all the time. Started playing Battlefield 3 and really enjoying it.

I consider myself a pubstomper play style and simply own everyone. I haven't played anything competitively for a while but looking to play with fanT int he up and coming GA ladder.

IRL Im a 2nd > 3rd year nurse student living on uni campus in sydney. I use wireless internet to play but i get wicked speeds with it so Im happy with it.

What I mean to say is that I like to get right in there and drop everyone as opposed to taking it slowly and or camping. When I defend something ie in Rush mode, I prefer to make offense to the offensive team instead of camping up the objective.

Antony89 and a few of yous are amazing pilots BTW and one of the reasons this clan appealed to me

Welcome to a whole new level of suck. The blackhawk has been replaced by triple OP jets flown by self centered egomanical assclowns who couldn't spell teamwork let alone participate in any. Topped off by a whole shitpile of worthless eurotrash newbs who pollute the servers with their ineptitude and ignorance.

The only beacon of light in this whole fustercluck of a game is the impending release of a half decent set of maps with Karkand and Sharqi. And yes I say half decent because the other two maps are SHIT! fucking wake island has ALWAYS BEEN, still IS and always WILL BE nothing but a jetwhore assclown fest of the highest order. THE only way they will ever fix that map is to cut jet speeds in half and give us back our AT4. Oman is not quite as bad but still a total "I'm a jet pilot! I'm a jet pilot!" noob circle jerk!

Apologies for my tourettes outbreak rant there Lith, I spent $80 on a game that turned out to be the biggest disappointment since Duke Nukem 4ever and I'm feeling a little ripped off and pissed off.

So yeah, anyway . . . welcome :)

Pretty sure Oman has hover jets, so with all the noobs trying to jet strafe that is sure to happen you could probably take them down with the blowtorch :p

Agreed though, really glad I skimped out and bought the $30 Russian version cos if I paid $80 for this game I'd probably cry myself to insanity on the pile of bodies that is DICE's staff. They better not have fucked with Karkand, someone needs to retrofit this hitmarker system to BC2 so I can go back to having that awesome pit of fun and addiction.

Oi does yours break every time they release a patch? I get black screens on multiplayer in mine and I have to wait for someone on Battlelog forums to post an updated English language pack before I can get in.

I'll be able to answer this later tonight. I actually uninstalled the game about a month ago and I've been playing Skyrim, no regrets :D

I'm downloading it now and I've downloaded the language packs too (got them from this site http://play-sc.com/BF3-language.html).

The first time I installed the game though I just copied Jordoi's version (english limited ed) onto an external HDD and copied it into my Origin Games library and it worked instantly. Still got 5 hours to go on the download, are you running the Russian version too?

Yeah I did something pretty similar, grabbed my brother's Limited Edition DVD and installed from that but when I loaded it up, it gave me a black screen in multiplayer, no HUD in Co-op and stalled on a loading screen in Campaign. Managed to fix it by downloading some English files some kind soul uploaded, but 3 days later they released a patch which started the problem again. Same fix but I had to wait for the new files to get uploaded.

Might be time for me to grab Skyrim too, it's the only thing I really wanna play right now (apart from Pokemon HeartGold on the DS emulator - don't judge me <3).

No one will ever judge for Pokemon, or emulators, fuck I finished Bomberman, Advance Wars, and about 5 other games using a GBAdvance emulator when I broke my arm in highschool cos that all my computer would run/all I could play. Oh and Halflife 1 (fuck that was hard with a shoulder high cast), all without sound cos the soundcard shat itself the day I started. So every time I hear late 90's music on the radio I get flashes of Halflife and Advance Wars :p

Skyrim is awesome, you literally lose track of time playing it. Download this (http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=98) otherwise midnight turns into 4am in the time it takes to drink half a can of coke.

The only glitch I've had in BF3 (aside from eleventy-billion crashes) was HUD and crosshair actually showing in HC mode, and that was only for 1 game, but I'm sure I'll find more tonight.

I feel your pain Cheffy, any idea at all whats wrong?
Just had 30+ minutes of having the game crash during loading (when that little blue square flashes) only to have my display drivers crash the second I spawn. FUCK THIS SHIT. I'm going back to Skyrim, a fucking BETHESDA game, a company famous for bugs, glitches and crashes, which has only crashed 3 times in the last MONTH. Fuck DICE, fuck EA, fuck nVidia, and fuck my laptop. I need a desktop :grief:

no idea whats wrong!! i think i better have a look at this game SKYRIM as i don't think ill be playing bf3 ever again.... its been a whole damn week and all that happens is that it loads then it says cannot connect to server... this is very frustrating:mad::mad::mad::mad:
