This doesn't actually have anything to do with polish.(BF3).
Issue was around back in 2008, and has more to do with streaming servers.
In short: Steaming sites such as pbbans.com are setup so servers can share banlists. Cheaters had their own server, cheaters joined the streaming group of admins, banned innocent people on their own server, who then got banned on every other server streaming pbbans.
Thats why it became much harder to be a pbbans admin, e.g must be an established clan. etc.. need screenshot proof/actual punkbuster ban for it to apply everywhere.
It's why we:
- manually approve all newly added servers to stream
- manually approve all newly added users to existing streaming accounts
- don't allow free online email accounts for streaming applicants.
- don't allow home servers to stream
- don't allow teams with cheaters to stream
- don't allow any server whose IP is found in the MPi (used by a player) to stream
- don't allow cracked servers to stream
- don't show the full 32 character GUID for clean players
