Only use Metro when starting the server up, then once we're around 30 players add the 32p maps so that people don't get kicked. Get rid of Metro as part of the normal rotation.

Anyone agree?

Like I said during the scrim we should throw damavand and tehran on occasionally so we learn it a bit, if not at least prac it a bit more.

The map is poo but I've been having a lot more fun on FanT recently than I used to. It's mainly the change of scenery I suppose.

ok new map list is set on boot. at the end of the maplist it sets the server back to 64 player so it should all be good. No more kicking half the server.

metro, siene,bazaar, 3 flag sharqi & gulf. (metro can always be removed once its full)

If the server stays less full than it did previously with just the normal maps then in a few days we put it back to the way it was. With something normal replacing metro when full.

Its better than metro because there is a viable flanking option, and vehicles.

Also, from what I've seen, sharqi tends to empty the server.
Probably wrong.

Only reason I don't play FanT is cause of the shit rotation.

BF3 is about assets. You have a heavy infantry focus, which is fine if I feel like a linear infantry map, but that isn't too often. But when I do feel like linear infantry, it is too easy to hop onto a metrosexual 24/7 server.

Gimmie Karg/Nosh/Firestorm/any B2k anyday. you can inf/tank/fly all on the one map.

No but seriously, give the B2K maps another chance but this time maybe wean the server on to them. Add them in once we've hit a critical mass to keep the server running. Takes a bit more effort to admin but it's worth it IMO for the better quality gameplay.

And FWIW there's been a fair bit of good feedback about Dama despite it being a bit of a meatgrinder.

I think its just the vehicles that do it for Damavand, and maybe because its not all blue.
Metro is 3 stairs, Damavand is 1 huge tunnel, and a mountain. You can get back capped easily on Damavand, not on metro.
I dont know, maybe people just like a break from Metro every once and a while.

When I first read that, I didn't think DICE were smart enough to fix that issue, thought it would just be something else, but you might be correct we should try.

One thing I noticed on metro, it was fun..
There was no nade spam at all. Well, maybe the odd 2 or 3, but it wasn't constant.
You don't get some cunt lying prone on an ammo box spamming constantly, cause he would easily get flanked.
Caps outs are no worries as well, easy to flank.
Seine is fun, would rather Large Seine over Small, but both are good.
Bazaar is pretty much the same, not much of a difference at all tbh.
NOSH IS TERRIBLE, DO NOT WANT, DIE IN A FIRE.
But I guess you guys have played these before on 32p.

Also would help myself in getting used the these maps for 8's as I don't play them normally.

Oman needs to be changed from the standard Conquest 32 to Conquest Assault, the current one is a shocker :p

Also Sharqi needs to drop some flags, 3 flags is quite good on that map but 5 is a bit too large.

Leave Karkand as it is though, only played one round so far but I think it's better than the 3 flag one if it's not possible to set inf only for a single round each time Karkand rolls up.
