I fucking HATED jets in BF2, they were ridiculously OP and even a half-skill scrote-licker could rape the shit out of a decent infantry side on wake island if you didn't have a decent pilot to keep them occupied. Or worse, you had a decent pilot on your team but he gave u ZERO support and just whored up the kills.

but these jets look freaking awesome, well balanced and *gasp* able to be shot down! Check out the footage at 1:12, you can clearly see the tank of all things getting hit markers from the coax gun on the jet which is flying at height and speed that makes me think a good AT4 player would have better than even odds at smacking flyboy out of the sky.

PLUS something called an "AA cannon" is hammering an enemy jet at 1:40 and again the speed they're traveling at makes proper targeting and fire contact possible. If this proves half as well balanced in full release game play I might actually be able to enjoy myself on something other than inf/helo only servers.
