http://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield3/comments/p54yn/bf3_community_manager_zh1nt0_manages_a_team_of/

The video is a little drawn out but basically its about a team (epsilon) managed by the one and only zh1nt0 that are being accused of running anti recoil macros. ie basically hacking.

Wonder if they are and if so how many other scrubs are out there using this. Would be a whole lot less sus than aimbots and pretty much undectable.

While it wouldn't be the first time I've seen top players use or trying shit like this. Winghaven is one player who wouldn't use such a thing. I was watching this dude over 10 years ago in Enemy Territory Euro Cups and the guys aim is legit.

Shit even my old BC2 captains aim is somewhat similar to this beasts dudes. http://youtu.be/AFNfNcb-qQU

Beast's aim shake is exaggerated by the weird resolution hes recorded at and the fact AEK has the most horizontal sway of all the rifles.

Wow I've never seen shooting like that. If I didn't know they were using a macro I would've just thought straight aimbot from that jittering

Film the gameplay and sync it with footage of actual mouse and keyboard movements - use the same resolution + capture method.

Easy.

Pattern scanning is actually something Punkbuster has to be very cautious about as it's run into problems with it in the past. About ~6-8 months ago Punkbuster started scanning for a string pattern signature in Bad Company 2 for a literal string that was used in text display for an internal hack menu used by many people. Well someone managed to reverse engineer Punkbuster and realized this. Why's this such a big deal? Well, word spread fast and hackers starting going into punkbuster-enabled servers and typed that same string literal into all-chat, which meant that everyone in the server got flagged by Punkbuster for having that violation signature in their game memory. I remember seeing the fallout on many EA forums and reddit about this, and how innocent players were ridiculed by others for their false bans and were being assaulted with statements such as "well you shouldn't have been hacking you liar. All you hackers deserve to burn in hell." It's times like that when I really wish people would do some research before making assumptions and going on a witch hunt.

Rices, this is exactly what happened to you when we were with AK-101. Funny how they were so ready to believe you were cheating and only grudgingly accepted it was a mistake. But a proven cheater (one of their younger members who got busted in MOH) was still welcome there long after there was no doubt he'd done it deliberately.

^^ yea lol if u even look at my enlistment thread where they kicked me. Upon me getting unbanned they wrote. Unbaned lucky boi. As though I had been hacking and I was lucky to be unbaned O_o

Yes they are really good but notice the difference in the aim from the first video to that one ? theres little to no sideays juttering like the first video now yes some of that could be recoil from the side movement of the AEK, but to be honest if you compare the two videos i don't buy that an elite gamer has that much reticule movement and yet is still as accurate as the second video, 7.50 of the first video illustrates the side movement in an exagerated sense perfectly

that shows quite well what the macro is actually doing

He didn't get 320'd once AND he ran down the stairs multiple times to good effect!

But seriously - When you watch hilight reels does anyone else get the sense that the majority of the BF3 community outside of Australia is breath takingly bad at this game? Which isn't to take away from the top level players in the international community but damn they seem to stumble upon a lot of amazing situations. Regularly.

OMG 5 seconds into that vid there is a guy pointing a flashlight RIGHT AT HIM AS HE RUNS DOWN THE ESCALATORS WTF :wtf:

I get the sense that when migrating from BC2 to BF3 half the community took a fall and suffered a head injury. Serisously, it's either that or everyone just stayed in BC2 and BF3 is full of CoD players :P

I mean wtf is going on here, how terrible can a team be at this game to let 1 person do this:
