    GOG DRM-free sale

    http://www.gog.com/

Pretty much all their games are on sale for half price by the looks of it, plus a few freebies (i.e. Torchlight).

My picks from the list are DK1&2 (favourite series ever), Empire Earth and Disciples 2.

    Any suggestions?

Actually, instead of buying it, I might just pull out the PS1 and play it on that.

    So much nostalgia.

Most notable new deal for the next 24 hours is Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition at $5.99. Just bought last week on Steam, fml.

How not? Surely if you buy from Gog it comes with working Dosbox, if that's what you need...

I recommend Master of Magic as always. Like the original Civ but heaps more fun because you're a powermongering wizard running an empire.

    Also, System Shock

Something to do with laptop chipsets, or so I've read.
    Exoddus still works fine though.

One game I would have liked to see on GOG would be Medieval: Total war. I played it quite a bit a very long time ago but I lost the disc and never got around to getting it again, so, I torrented it.

GOOD THING I HAVE A LAPTOP.
Problems that this game has. I have to run in compatibility mode, not a very big issue.
Second problem. The screen resolution is stuck on 800x600 and isn't stretched to the screen size. Apparently the game was never updated to use 4xxx series GPU's or later. So I have to run it on the iGPU.

But omfg I love this game.
